BALL STATE UNIVERSITY ARMY ROTC

GO ARMY.COM! See how you can make a difference in the US Army!     BALL STATE UNIVERSITY ARMY ROTC   US Army ROTC

You've learned your basic soldiering skills. Now learn how to LEAD THE WAY!

The Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) is designed to commission prior-enlisted soldiers into the National Guard and Army Reserve.

You will continue to serve part time--one weekend per month and two weeks each year--with your unit while going to school full time.  As a cadet, you become a soldier in training--a non-deployable asset until you graduate and receive your commission.

Discover how you can become a soldier in the Army National Guard at http://www.1800goguard.com!

Contact SSG Porter at 765-285-1637 or Ms. Sandoval at 765-285-4674 for answers to questions or concerns.

Cadets learn to be Platoon Leaders and gain valuable experience leading troops and making command decisions--qualities that many employers look for!

As an SMP Cadet, you could be earning approximately $1,200/month without getting a job after all of your classes!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • SOPHOMORE STANDING (30 Credit Hours)

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on 4.0 scale)

  • Pass Army Physical Fitness Test

For More Information, call 1-800-552-7721 or Email SSG Porter or Ms. Sandoval.
